Ko’olauloa Health Center

At Koʻolauloa Health Center we believe that health care should be a right, not a privilege.

The mission of Koʻolauloa Health Center is to “Improve the Quality of Life for All, Imua” and is the service area’s only comprehensive service provider truly accessible to the community regardless of ability to pay and on a sliding discount. The Koʻolauloa Service area, and Koʻolauloa Health Center’s target population, extends from Kualoa to Haleʻiwa. Ko’olauloa Health Center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals

At Koʻolauloa Health Center we do everything in our power to ensure that all families in our community have access to the quality, affordable health care they deserve, and the peace of mind it brings.

Yearly Physicals

When you hear the word “physical,” you may think of hanabata days when you had to visit the doctor to get shots for school. But a physical is more than just shots or a physical exam.  And both children AND adults can benefit from attending regular physicals.

You may feel fine, but catching problems BEFORE they become serious means:

Finding a problem when it is easier to treat (such as diabetes, heart disease, or cancer). Saving you money. Potentially saving your life.

COVID-19 Vaccinations

The most up-to-date bivalent booster vaccines are specifically designed to protect against the original COVID-19 and Omicron subvariants. These boosters are available for free regardless of health insurance status. Bivalent boosters are available for those who are 6 months and older who completed their primary vaccine series at least 2 months ago and received their 1st or 2nd booster at least 2 months ago.

GRANT REPORT - HIGHLIGHTS

Growing a Healthy Community

We believe a community's health isn't just measured by access to medical care. Physical and mental health are critical elements for improving social well-being. Vibrant public spaces are essential community resources where people come together to play, learn, grow food, exercise, and relax.

At Koʻolauloa Health Center we work with local, public, and private partners to address those needs to improve community health outcomes within the Koʻolauloa area by improving opportunities for physical activity; increasing access to nutritious and affordable food; promoting public safety; and offering high-quality health care services.
